비파괴식으로 엔진실린더 전체내벽에 가공중 혹은 고객사용시 발생된 표면코팅상태/Polishing상태/Dent/오염/피스톤링의 마찰, 압착흔/Scratch/Sink Hole/Carbonization 등을 마치 사람의 눈과 현미경이실린더 내벽으로 들어가서 시각적으로 짧은 시간에분석 측정하는 효과를 가진 측정분석기.

원형 360도 내부 표면을 평면으로 전환하여 분석 가능.

Visual evaluation and documentation of inner cylinder walls was traditionally expensive and the results produced were often inadequate.

Typically, the use of a special camera with an objective adapted to the radius enabled the optical survey of a cylinder wall. Less expensively is the use of a mirror trowel to look for polished areas, scratches, sink holes, carbonisation, seizure marks, and corrosion spots.

Alternatively, special angle microscopes can be used to examine small areas or conventional photography can be used on cylinders that are sliced

The CylScan instrument, however, scans the entire cylinder wall surface with high resolution so that the complete wall is  displayed as a whole.

This is accomplished using a photo diode rod with an integrated light source to scan the entire cylinder wall.

The scanning head is self centering and suitable for all standard automotive cylinder diameters
