 Akron Abrasion Tester Model HT8022

CCSi features this high quality Akron Abrasion Tester for evaluating resistance to abrasion of rubber materials through the measure of volumetric loss of a rotating specimen exposed to the action of a standard grinding wheel.

The Model HT8022 is especially well suited for testing harder materials such aconveyor belting, tire tread and shoe soles as specified in CNS 734, JIS K6047 and BS903–A9.

The Model HT8022 abrasion resistance tester features the rotation of the test specimen while it is applied
to a grinding wheel, which introduces variable forces by means of a reference mass. The specimen angle may be varied from 0º to 45º.
