FLC LUBRICITY TESTER

(휴대용 극압첨가제 오일품질시험기)

The FLC Lubricity Tester는 휴대용으로서 극압첨가제가 포함된 윤활유면 어떤 종류든지 시험가능하여, 엔진오일 및 산업용 극압오일 등의 시험이 가능하다.

특히 엔진오일 및 첨가재 관련 제조업체 대리점등의 관련 업체 영업 사원 혹은 품질관리부 직원등이 구매자에게 해당오일의 우수성을 다른 오일과 시각적으로 간단 명료히 비교하여 보여줄 수 있는 장비이다

시험방식은 Test Ring위에 Test Roll을 얹고 Roll위에 하중을 추에 의하여(옵션:기계자동식) 가하고, 하중을 일정하게 계속유지 시킨상태에서 시편들사이에 윤활유가 묻혀서 밀착하여 맞물려서 돌아가게하여, 시편사이에 마찰력이 발생케하고, 마찰력 발생시 상하시편간에 타서 붙는 현상 즉 융착이 발생하게 되고, 이것이 심하면, 연기까지 피어오르는 것을 시각적으로 관측가능하며, 보통의 경우, 마찰력이 상승시 시편사이에 Amp meter가 있어서 소음 진동을 인식하여, 어느정도 윤활유의 성질이 우수한지를 판가름 할 수 있어 영업용 및 연구실에서도 간단히 사용 가능한 장비이다.

SALES DEMONSTRATION UNIT

1. Clean oil cup, test roll and test ring with a safe non-chlorinated solvent.

2. Mount test roll in place so any previously worn section will not be in contact with test

ring.

3. Check test ring for galling damage. Polish with emery paper to smooth surface, if required (test ring should be replaced as needed).

4. Place small amount of fluid to be tested in oil cup so ring will pick up fresh fluid as it

passes through cup. If grease is to be tested, coat the ring liberally with grease. If

aerosol product is to be tested, spray entire ring as it is rotating.

Sales Demonstration One: Load Carrying Capacity Test

1. Apply load with torque wrench and watch amp meter until it reaches 7-8 amps. Note load required on torque wrench (NOTE 1).

2. Change product and rerun same as before and compare load required to reach 7-8 amps.

Sales Demonstration Two: Load Carrying Capacity Test (Additive Effect)

1. Fill oil cup with base fluid. Apply load with torque wrench and watch amp meter until it reaches 7-8 amps. Add fluid additive, and if friction is reduced, reading on amp meter

should drop.

Sales Demonstration Three: Friction Reduction

1. Apply desired load with torque wrench. Record amp reading.

2. Change product and apply same load. Compare friction as indicated by amp reading.

Sales Demonstration Four: Wear Reduction

1. Apply desired load with torque wrench. Observe wear scar.

2. Change product and apply same load with torque wrench. Compare size of wear scar.

Other demonstration methods may be used to show product effects.

NOTE 1: Motor has automatic overload protection and will shut off if it should be overheated.

Wait several minutes until motor "clicks" before restarting.
